I\u2019m Caius Pelish, a Software Developer and UI\/UX Designer with a lifelong interest in both technology and visual design. From a young age, I was encouraged to create and think artistically by my grandparents, artists Jim and Susan Pelish, who introduced me to many different forms of art and helped shape the way I approach creativity. At the same time, my father, Jason Pelish, introduced me to the fundamentals of computers and web development, including HTML, CSS, and WordPress.<\/p>\n
Growing up around both art and technology gave me a unique way of looking at software. I learned to think about digital products not only in terms of how they function, but also how they look, feel, and communicate with the people using them. That background has helped me visualize designs from multiple perspectives and has become an important part of how I approach frontend development and UI\/UX work.<\/p>\n
My formal education in Computer Science at the University of Central Florida has given me the technical foundation to turn those ideas into working applications. Through coursework, collaborative projects, and hackathons, I\u2019ve continued developing my skills in software engineering, frontend development, and interface design. Projects such as SeesAgenda and EcoVest have given me opportunities to lead the visual direction of applications, refine user experiences, and work within demanding development timelines.<\/p>\n
Together, my creative upbringing, early exposure to web technology, professional experience, and Computer Science education have shaped the kind of developer I am today. I enjoy working where technology and design meet\u2014taking an idea, understanding how people will interact with it, and turning it into something that is both functional and thoughtfully designed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
